Did Anyone Else Notice?

We watched the VP debates at Matt and Jeana's last Thursday. We go over there to watch "The Office" - which was obviously not on due to the debates. There was a comment made that we all thought for sure would be pointed out in the news the next day but none of us ever heard anyone else mention it and people we asked didn't notice it. Since they have DVR, we had replayed it to make sure we heard right.
Did no one else notice that in one comment Sarah Palin called Joe Biden "Senator Obiden?"
I mean, overall they both had their fair share of mistakes, miscalculations, and overexaggerations but we thought that one was funny.
Just wondering...

Yes! I giggled. I too was disapointed not to see the office. Oh well. Only 3 days! (And Chuck is on tonight!) My mom forwarded me an interesting link that has unbiased facts about the candidates. If you're interested it's factcheck.org.

noticed it! and so did others cause there are t-shirts coming out that say vote for O-Biden... did you get to watch the real VP debate on SNL? oh my goodness andrea...you couldn't make that stuff up! just google SNL and go to their offical website. you can watch all 3 of tina fey's sketches involving her. whatever your choice is for president she makes for some side splitting sketches...

I didn't notice, but my mom did and we talked about it later. Yes, I'm very surprised no one mentioned it... not even SNL!

We did hear that! Well, guess she was nervous. But the incessant winking was a tad annoying, don't you think? Have you seen the Tiny Fey SNL Palin skits? Pretty funny stuff! Hey, thanks so much for coming by yesterday and participating in my SITS Featured Blogger Day in the Sun! Hope you come back soon and take a look around-hope you'll find lots of interesting stuff around my place!

I did notice when she said that during the debate, and then afterward, Brian Williams (NBC Nightly News anchor) mentioned it, but they didn't make a big deal about it at all. He said that was an easy mistake to make, seeing how you're so used to saying "Senator Obama"...and his name is "Senator Biden"...the B thing is confusing! Actually, earlier that day, I was talking to Tim about Biden, and I called him Obiden! I was annoyed that the media was getting on her for calling him "Joe" that one time, when BEFORE she said it, he called her "Sarah".

At least she asked him when they were shaking hands if she could call him "Joe" and he said it was fine. Sometimes I think the media needs to just butt out with their opinions.
